We invite you to visit our Tampa STI testing center, where we strive to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience as you take control of your health. Here’s how our center serves the community.
Comprehensive and Confidential Testing Services
STIs can still hold a stigma, and we know that getting tested can seem a little scary. However, at our Tampa STI testing center, we have created a welcoming and non-judgmental environment. Our compassionate and highly-trained staff is dedicated to ensuring your comfort throughout the testing process.
We believe everyone deserves access to confidential and respectful healthcare, regardless of perceived stigma. We aim to empower individuals to take charge of their sexual health by providing a supportive and safe space for STI testing. You can trust us to offer the utmost care and discretion because your well-being is our top priority.
Education and Prevention Programs
In addition to STI testing, our clinic focuses on STI education to help you prevent disease and maintain good health. Our staff is happy to talk with you about the following preventative measures:
Vaccinations – Vaccines are a safe and effective method of reducing your chances of getting HPV and Hepatitis B. HPV vaccinations are typically offered to preteens, but you can get vaccinated up to age 26. Hep B vaccinations are also given to younger people, but if you were not vaccinated as a child, you should get your Hep B vaccine now.
PrEP – Pre-exposure prophylaxis (or PrEP) is a daily medicine taken to prevent HIV. PrEP can stop HIV from spreading throughout your body. PrEP is highly effective when taken as directed for preventing HIV from sex or drug use.
Sexual Partners – Reducing your number of sexual partners can lower your risk of contracting STIs. However, it’s important to note that regardless of the number of sexual partners, everyone should prioritize getting tested and openly sharing their results.
Condoms – Using a condom every time you have sex is the best way to lower your risk of STIs. Grab some free condoms when you stop by our Tampa STI testing clinic!
Accessible and Affordable Healthcare
Our staff never wants cost to get in the way of our community getting the healthcare it needs. We offer no-cost STI testing and treatment options at our Tampa STI testing center. Our office provides all services regardless of ability to pay or insurance status.
If you can’t come to our clinic, we provide telehealth visits that allow you to connect with our providers through live phone or video chat, ensuring convenient access to care from wherever you are. It is important to note that we cannot perform testing or treatment during a telehealth visit. These visits must be done in person.
